Club brings adaptation of 'Frozen' to stage this weekend

The Homeschool Theater Club will bring to the stage “Elsa and Anna,” an adaptation of the Disney film “Frozen,” this weekend.

Performances are on Friday, March 29 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 30 at 6 p.m. at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center.

Admission is by donation.

The musical tells the story of fearless princess Anna who sets off on an journey to find her sister Elsa, whose icy powers have inadvertently trapped the kingdom of Arendell in eternal winter. Joining Anna to help her are a rugged iceman, his loyal pet reindeer and a naïve snowman.

The theater club is an educational club with a goal of educating home-educated students of the Flathead Valley in fine arts. Students assist in every part of the production process including acting, writing, props, costumes, as stagehands, music and other parts of the production.

Rehberg to attend rally for Jesus statue
