The grand opening of The Farmers Market at Libby is Thursday, May 9, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the lawn of the Libby Area Chamber, on Highway 2.

The market will continue every Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Libby Chamber believes this event is a natural progression of recent strategies focusing on a brighter sense of place — an appealing place to live, a dynamic place for business and enticing destinations for visitors — yielding an economic and cultural boom to the town.

The Libby Chamber will be adding entertainment and special features throughout the season. Libby Bucks and the SNAP program will be accepted.

The Libby Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their monthly after-hours networking event, Business and Banter, during the market on Thursday, May 16 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The Chamber will be partnering with Cabinet Mountain Brewing for American Craft Beer Week to feature some of our favorite local brews.

The Farmers Market at Libby will continue until Friday, Oct. 11.

Please contact the Chamber for more information or vendor applications at 406-293-4167 or info@libbychamber.org. Or visit http://www.libbychamber.org/farmersmarketatlibby
