Used car dealership, auto repair shop opens on East Sherman

A used car dealership with full-service automotive repair, Amstutz Family Auto has opened at 1303 E. Sherman Ave.

Amstutz services all makes and models, sells new and used tires, does oil changes, engine diagnostics and repair and service on brakes, suspension and more. The oil change special in May is $19.99.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Owners are Ryan Amstutz and Jake and Phyllis Amstutz. Phone 208-966-2645. Check Amstutz Family Auto LLC on Facebook.

High Caliber Auto Sales & Service opens

Sales on preowned cars, trucks and SUVs started May 1, and service for retail customers starts July 1, at High Caliber Auto Sales & Service at 1701 N. Fourth St.

“We aim for excellence, and we don’t miss,” said owner-operator Rob Smith.

Safelite Auto Glass moves to Dalton Avenue

In-shop and mobile auto glass repair and replacements are at Safelite AutoGlass at 235 W. Dalton Ave. In Coeur d’Alene for more than 35 years, the company moved from 1026 N. Fourth St.

Safelite started in 1947 in Wichita, Kan., and now has more than 720 locations with a nationwide lifetime warranty.

- Velvet Hammer Boutique will be a new retail clothing store in Riverstone.

- Staybridge Suites hotel is under construction in Riverstone. A Marriott Fairfield Inn is planned for nearby on Ironwood.

- A new building for Idaho Central Credit Union is under construction at 1327 W. Appleway.

- North Idaho Eye Institute has a building under construction across from the Hayden library.

- Bi-Mart will open a new store in the former Stein’s Family Foods building at 16102 N. Highway 41 in Rathdrum.
