Libby Dam public information meeting May 22

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is hosting a Libby Dam annual operations public information meeting in Libby, on Wednesday, May 22, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the K.W. Maki Theatre.

Corps representatives will discuss water supply forecasts, Libby Dam operations and Kootenai River White Sturgeon recovery efforts. In addition, a Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks representative will provide a Kootenai River fisheries update.

Members of the public, elected officials, and stakeholders with an interest in Libby Dam and the Kootenai River are encouraged to attend and learn more about dam operations and fisheries.
