Wyatt Setian

Montana State-Billings baseball

Setian, a sophomore shortstop from Post Falls High, was the only underclassman in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference to earn first-team honors, leading the league with 68 hits and 19 doubles during the regular season. Setian hit .351 (68 for 194) with 12 home runs and 45 RBIs coming out of the leadoff spot, and is the only player to start all 48 games on the year for the Yellow Jackets (30-18).

Haley Loffer

College of Idaho softball

Loffer, a freshman shortstop from Lake City High, was an honorable mention pick for the All-Cascade Conference team, and was named to the Gold Glove Team. Loffer hit .356 with 14 extra base hits and a conference-high 25 stolen bases, while committing six errors in 255 chances (.976 fielding percentage). College of Idaho (38-15) earned a bid to the NAIA Championships, and will be the No. 3 seed in the Hattiesburg (Miss.) bracket. The Yotes will face host William Carey in their first-round game on Monday — a rematch of an elimination game in the 2014 NAIA World Series.

Katie Kastning

Central Washington softball

Kastning, a sophomore outfielder from Lakeland High, was named to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference first team, batting an even .400 with 64 hits and 44 runs batted in for the Wildcats (33-18), who advanced to the NCAA Division West Regional Tournament starting today against UC San Diego in La Jolla.
