The Mirror Lake golf ladies started their 2019 golf season on Tuesday evening, April 30, 2019.
Game of the day was “Low Net.” The low net winner in Flight A was Julie Williams. The low net winner in Flight B was Renee Murphy.
In the Wednesday morning, May 1, 2019 group, game of the day was “Least Putts.” Etta Mae Schneurle was the “least putts” winner with 15. Jenny Link was the winner of the “Low Gross” score, and Linda Bogden was the winner for “Low Net.”
The Mirror Lake golf ladies meet every Tuesday evening and/or every Wednesday morning from the beginning of May through the middle of October.
The ladies play Tuesday evenings or Wednesday mornings, whichever is the most convenient to them, or if they choose — and some do — they can play both times. Or, if a member has a conflict on her regular playing day, she can play on the other day.
Members have been happy with this arrangement, which allows a golfer who may work or have commitments during the day, or on the particular day of play, to select the most convenient time for her to play each week. This also enables the club to reach out to more lady golfers and gives golfers some flexibility in their schedules. Ladies’ choice! Any interested lady golfer is welcome to join!

There were two “Games of the Day” for the Mirror Lake ladies’ first Fall week of golf, “1st 9-hole Club Champion” and “Mystery Partner.” The 9-hole Club Champion is determined by whoever posts the Low Gross score. In Mystery Partner, numbers are drawn out of a hat at the end of play to determine who the partners are, and the partners with the lowest accumulated score win the prize.
