PMS principal has been reassigned to teaching job

According to Polson School Disrict Superintendent Rex Weltz, Polson Middle School Principal Tim Finkbeiner has been reassigned. Weltz made the following statement to the Lake County Leader last Friday, May 10:

“The Polson School District recently reassigned their Middle School Principal to a teaching position within the District. Decisions are made to reassign staff based on what is in the best interest of the District as a whole. The District does not comment on personnel decisions due to an individual right of privacy.”

Polson woman pleads not guilty to homicide

Danielle Jeanette Wood pleaded not guilty to deliberate homicide during a video arraignment Tuesday before Lake County District Court Judge Deborah “Kim” Christopher at the Sanders County Courthouse in Thompson Falls. Wood is charged with deliberate homicide in connection with the death of Thompson Falls resident Matthew LaFriniere in May 2018.
