Angelyca Chapman

Lake City High

Chapman, a sophomore, scored 38 of a possible 40 points during the state 5A track and field meet, winning in the 400-meter dash and running legs of the school’s winning 4x200 and 4x400 championship at Eagle High on Friday and Saturday. “Angelyca was phenomenal this weekend,” Lake City coach Kelly Reed said. “She had just an incredible state tournament. My wife (Heather Harmon-Reed) and the workouts they’ve done this year really helped her get where she needed to.”
