The Investigation Discovery channel will feature a Coeur d’Alene murder case on an upcoming episode of its series “Murder in the Heartland.”

The show focuses on murder cases that affect residents in small cities and towns.

The episode, airing on Memorial Day, will explore the murder of Coeur d’Alene resident William “Bo” Kirk, who was found shot to death near the Hayden Creek shooting range in October 2016.

Kirk was followed home by Justin Roy Booth and David Hutto, who zip-tied Kirk’s hands, stole his debit card and then took him to Hayden Creek, where they killed him. Booth was sentenced to at least 30 years in prison for his role in Kirk’s death; Hutto was sentenced to life.

Jennifer Von Behren, a self-described medium and psychic who helped lead a family friend to Kirk’s body, was interviewed for the episode. Von Behren messaged the friend, Brian Johnston, on social media, saying she was seeing a man in a wooded area near a tree and that the word “creek” kept popping up in her head.

Johnston later found Kirk in a wooded area near Hayden Creek.

“I’m excited to see it sum everything up. It’s the whole story,” Von Behren said. “I think this could help bring closure to those who knew and were close to Kirk.”

The episode will air at 11 p.m. PST Monday on Investigation Discovery, which is channel 138 for Spectrum, 285 for DirecTV and 192 for Dish Network.
