OTHELLO — K-9 Garrett came up big in an arrest last week when he helped his two-legged co-workers locate a wanted man who was hiding from deputies.
Last week Adams County deputies contacted Bud Ashton Davis, 32, in the 700 block of South Sunset Acres Road, near Othello. Davis, who had an outstanding felony out for his arrest, fled from deputies and was able to hide out in the area.
Deputies used a drone to set up a containment area and K-9 Garrett was able to track Davis to a nearby tree line. The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant, obstruction of a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.
