Junior guard Zach Norvell Jr. has indeed played his final game for the Gonzaga men’s basketball team.

Norvell, a 6-foot-5 redshirt sophomore shooting guard, opted to remain in the NBA Draft as the deadline for players with eligibilty remaining passed on Wednesday night.

Norvell started 36 of the Zags’ 37 games this season, and was named first team All-West Coast Conference and second team All-District by the NABC. He averaged 14.9 points and 3.14 assists per game during his redshirt sophomore season. He led the West Coast Conference with 97 made three-pointers this season, making 37 percent of his shots from behind the arc. His 97 made shots from 3-point range ranks third all-time in program history for most in a single season. The Chicago native was second on the team with 47 steals in 2018-19.

Rui Hachimura and Brandon Clarke both announced intentions to remain in the draft last week.

Earlier on Wednesday, Gonzaga junior Killian Tillie officially announced he will return to school for his senior season. Freshman Filip Petrusev announced Tuesday he’ll remain at Gonzaga.

Tillie was a preseason All-West Coast Conference selection before missing 22 games with injuries this past season. In 15 appearances, he averaged 6.2 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. The Cagnes-sur-Mer, France native made 10 blocks and had 10 steals in 2018-19. He made 50 percent of his shots from the field, including 43.8 percent (14 of 32) from three-point range.

Tillie was tabbed second team All-WCC following his sophomore (2017-18) season. He averaged 12.9 points and 5.9 rebounds per game in his sophomore season.

Oregon State redshirt junior Tres Tinkle, who also had declared for the draft, announced plans to return to school last week. As a junior, Tinkle — son of Oregon State coach and former Ferris High star Wayne Tinkle — started all 30 games for the Beavers, averaging 20.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.7 steals per game. Oregon State advanced to the second round of the Pac-12 Conference tournament, losing to Colorado to finish 18-13. They did not receive a postseason tournament invite.

Washington junior Jaylen Nowell, who led the Huskies in scoring with 16.2 points per game, will remain in the NBA Draft. Nowell started all 36 games for Washington (27-9), which lost in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to North Carolina.

Oregon junior guard Payton Pritchard, who started all 38 games for the Ducks (25-13), will return for his senior year. Pritchard averaged 12.9 points per game as a junior, leading Oregon to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, losing to eventual national champion Virginia 53-49 in Louisville, Ky.

BYU junior Yoeli Childs will return to the Cougars program, the 6-8 forward announced on Twitter. Childs averaged 21.2 points and 9.8 rebounds per game for the Cougars, who finished 19-13 and did not receive a postseason tournament invite.
