If Deborah Akers Mitchell, Cindy Ackley and Mayor Widmyer are so interested in saving the house at 627 N. Government Way, why don’t they, as a partnership, invest their own funds, purchase and renovate the house themselves? That way, they could achieve their desire, not waste government funds and return the house to the tax rolls.
