SANDPOINT — Join Litehouse YMCA and the Sandpoint Parks and Recreation Department for the 12th annual Turkey Trot and food drive on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, Nov. 28. This low key event features a 5K, 10K or whatever distance you want to run or walk — bikes and dogs are not allowed.

This fun run is free with a nonperishable donation to the Bonner Community Food Bank. Event will start at the Travers Park parking lot, 1202 W. Pine St. at 9 a.m. Please arrive early to sign a waiver — minors need a parent or guardian’s signature — and to drop off food donations.

And remember, the best costume wins a pie
