Kats sweep Hardin to open State Volleyball Tournament

The Wildkats made short work of Hardin in the opening round of the State Volleyball Tournament in Bozeman Thursday, sweeping the Lady Bulldogs 25-21, 25-10, 25-17.
Dillen and Mady Hoerner each had 11 of the Kats’ 42 kills and two aces each in the win while Kamber Brown had 37 assists. Kiera Brown had three blocks and Grace Gedlaman added two while Angellica Street had 13 of the team’s 48 digs with Dillen Hoerner added 12.
With the win, the Kats advance to face Eastern Division champion Billings Central at 6 p.m. Billings Central defeated Polson Thursday morning, 25-13, 25-19, 25-15.
