CARTOONIST: Accused ankle biter

About 50 years ago I lived in a rural part of western Montana. My husband and I had some friends who lived about 15 miles away, whom we would visit on occasion. These friends had two tiny dogs that would run and hide under a sofa when we arrived. Then as we were seated they would run out, bite an ankle or two and then scurry under the sofa again.

I received one of Dan Brannan’s hateful postcards just prior to the election and searched diligently to find a response address, but could find none. I think of his card as an “ankle-biter” card. A lot of “crap” from a coward.

I do believe that the sender of hate should be required to take responsibility for what they are sending. Yes, the people I voted for were elected but I resent being labeled by the cowardly Brannan. No, Brannan, conservative cartooning isn’t a crime, but you should not be allowed to do it anonymously.
