Thompson Falls volleyball places third in Eureka

The Thompson Falls volleyball teams’ season ended Saturday at the Western B divisional in Eureka.

Thursday, the Blue Hawks beat Deer Lodge and Anaconda in three sets each. Friday, they fell to Florence in four sets and dropped a three-setter to Anaconda and placed third.

Florence ended up winning the divisional with Anaconda placing second.

In Friday’s match, Scarlette Schwindt led Thompson Falls with seven kills and 12 digs.

In Saturday’s match, Schwindt led the way again with 12 kills, seven digs and five aces. Belle Cooper had 11 kills and two blocks.
