A 51-year-old Victor man is dead after he was thrown from a pickup truck he was driving when it rolled on the Yaak Highway Thursday in Lincoln County.

According to Montana Highway Patrol, the man was driving a 1999 Ford F150 south on the Yaak Highway when he went off the right-hand side of the road as he entered a gradual left turn in the road.

He overcorrected, crossed both lanes of traffic and began to exit the left side of the road when he overcorrected again. The truck rolled and the man was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man was not wearing a seat belt and alcohol was a suspected factor in the crash.
