Authorities locate missing Troy man

A missing local man was found and returned home safely Nov. 21, officials said.

Sean O’Brien, 53, of Troy, was located after a multiday effort that included the David Thompson Search and Rescue and U.S. Border Patrol. Officials announced he was safe via social media about 5 p.m.

O’Brien had gone missing Nov. 19 while headed home from Eureka. He was last seen about 4 p.m. at Town Pump.

At the time, officials said O’Brien suffered from a medical condition.

No further information about his disappearance or discovery was immediately available.
