A two-vehicle accident occurred during rush-hour traffic Tuesday morning on Old Reserve Drive in Kalispell.
Thanks to seat belts and air bags, there were no injuries in the crash on the bridge that crosses the Stillwater River.
According to Montana Highway Patrol Bob Hensley, a burgundy-colored Honda Accord rear-ended a silver-colored Honda CRV. Each driver, both females, were wearing seat belts.
The woman in the CRV recently had surgery and she was checked and cleared by emergency medical technicians from West Valley Fire and Rescue. Her vehicle didn’t appear to sustain any serious damage, but the Accord had heavy front-end damage.
In addition to the Highway Patrol and West Valley Fire and Rescue, units from Kalispell Police Department and the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded.
