WOOD: A leader for Cd'A
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 6 years, 2 months AGO
I’m supporting Christie Wood for Coeur d’Alene City Council. I’ve known her for a long time and she’s a good lady. She grew up in Hauser and has lived and worked in Coeur d’Alene since 1985.
Christie is a veteran and she served with the United States Air Force. She retired after 26 years with the Coeur d’Alene Police Department. She’s protected us at night while out on patrol. She is a major reason why our neighborhoods have Block Watch programs.
Over the years, Christie has been elected multiple times to two different school boards. She also was the first school resource officer at Lake City High School after she helped start the program. She knows what kids need to stay safe and learn successfully. Some might say her experience makes her an insider, but they don’t know her track record or her commitment to Coeur d’Alene.
Christie Wood is what my Idaho used to be about: committed to your country while looking out for those in your community to make it a better place. If you care about Coeur d’Alene and you want an experienced voice working through local issues, vote for Christie Wood. She’s the experienced leader we need right now.
