Kellogg sweeps Timberlake

KELLOGG — In a key Intermountain League match, the Kellogg Wildcats swept the Timberlake Tigers 3-0 to clinch the league title at Andrews Gymnasium on Wednesday.

Further details were not available.

Timberlake (11-12, 5-2 IML) travels to Lakeland on Tuesday.

POST FALLS — Sarah Hines and Kiley Cutler scored goals for the 3A Panthers in a shutout of the 5A Bengals at The Fields at Real Life Ministries.

“This was a much faster paced game for us,” Coeur d’Alene Charter coach Stacy Smith said. “I was pleased with how we responded and how we were able to create opportunities in front of the net. It was a great measure for what we’ll see late in the season.”

Riley Anderson and Isabella Lucky had assists for Coeur d’Alene Charter (12-1), which travels to Bonners Ferry today at 4 p.m.

First half — 1, Charter, Sarah Hines (Riley Anderson), 26:00. Second half — 2, Charter, Kiley Cutler (Isabella Lucky), 50:00.

events for this week

Due to unforseen circumstances, Lakeside High in Plummer postponed tonight’s volleyball match at Wallace, with a rescheduled date of Saturday, Oct. 19.

In addition, Friday’s North Star League football game with Lakeside at Clark Fork was postponed. It will be rescheduled.
