The Inland Northwest Craft Brewers Association has developed an app to connect the region's breweries, beer culture, and local communities in the region.
SANDPOINT — A new app allows you to explore, plan, and get rewarded on your visits to all the amazing breweries throughout the Inland Northwest.
The Inland Northwest Craft Brewers Association developed this app to connect all the great breweries, beer culture, and local communities the Inland Northwest encompasses through outreach and education.
“This app allows you to explore the craft brewery destinations, rewards you for visiting them, and finds recommendations for the best itineraries to explore based on your planned trip,” association president Dave Kosiba said.
It maps out and highlights craft breweries, pubs, restaurants, cafes, outdoor activities, sightseeing accommodations and more. Create an account to be able to collect points and redeem them for goods or services at the rewards locations.
Download the app in Apple’s App Store and the Android Market. Simply search: “InlandNW Ale Trail” and download the app for free. Turn on location services for the app so it can list the breweries closest to you and can reward you for the visits you have made.
“There is even the ability to share this experience with friends at any point you please,” said Kosiba, who is the brewer and owner of Utara Brewing Company in Sandpoint. “Found a favorite location you want your friends to know about? Tap the share button to be able to share information via social media channels right then and there.
