Candidates vying for city council seats in Coeur d’Alene, Rathdrum and Hayden will gather at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library tonight to answer questions and continue their campaigns for a Nov. 5 victory.

Mike Hill and Fred Meckel, both competing for Rathdrum’s Seat 2, will be part of the showcase, as will Steven Adams, who is running for Seat 4.

Jillian Bernstein and Matthew Roetter will attend, as well, to answer questions in their quests for Hayden’s open Council Seat 1.

All three remaining candidates in the race for Coeur d’Alene’s Seat Five — Lacey Moen, Tom Morgan and incumbent Dan English — will show for tonight’s forum, which is sponsored by the North West Property Owners Alliance.

Michael Pereira and incumbent Dan Gookin will represent this election season’s race for Coeur d’Alene’s Seat 3. Elaine Price will attend, as well. Price is running opposite Christie Wood for Coeur d’Alene’s Seat 1, which will open following Council Member Ron Edinger’s retirement once the new year begins. Wood is traveling and cannot attend.

The event runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the library. Doors open at 5 p.m. Residents wishing to submit questions for the candidates may submit those questions via email: [email protected]
