BONNERS FERRY — Joey Follini threw for 191 yards and five touchdowns to power the Timberlake Tigers past the Bonners Ferry Badgers 62-13 in the Intermountain League opener for both schools on Friday.

Josh Yanez had five catches for 109 yards and two touchdowns for Timberlake, which led 41-6 at halftime. Timberlake outgained Bonners Ferry 312-87.

Louis Powell, Jacob James and Jack McDonald also had touchdown receptions for Timberlake (6-0), which hosts Priest River next Friday.

Bonners Ferry (0-6) hosts Kellogg next Friday.

The Wildcats opened their IML schedule with a convincing 40-6 win over Priest River.
