Libby succumbs to Ronan

Lady Loggers rallied hard in five games in Ronan on Tuesday night, but fell short of the W by three points.

The Loggers started out hot, but then the momentum was on and off until they succumbed to the maidens, 25-19, 24-26, 20-25, 25-18, 13-17.

McKenzie Proffitt was fierce at the net with 20 of the 44 kills for the Loggers.

Julia Martineau and Sheyla Gallagher led the Loggers in aces with four apiece.

Followed by Ember Rode and Kylee Quinn with three each.

Ashlyn Monigold finished with 24 of the 58 digs for the Loggers.

Loggers are currently 4-7 for conference play.

The Lady Loggers are set to play in Missoula Oct. 17 and 18 for the Missoula Invitational.

Their last play at home is a rematch against Ronan on October 24 at 7:15p.m.
