They're creepy and they're kooky

Aspire Community Theatre’s 2019-2020 season is opening tonight with a new musical based on the bizarre and beloved characters created by Charles Addams.

"The Addams Family" will be presented during the month of October at the Kroc Center, 1765 N. Golf Course Road, Coeur d'Alene.

In this adaptation, Wednesday Addams is all grown up and has fallen in love with an outsider, Lucas Beineke. Her out-of-character, sunny outlook has her kid brother, Pugsley, and her parents worried that she’s gone awry. This original story finds the famously macabre Addams Family put to the test when outsiders come to dinner. The dinner party reveals more than anyone bargained for, hurling the Addams household into comedic chaos.

Don’t miss the famous Addams Family, including Grandma, Lurch, Fester — and even some of their ancestors — in this new musical comedy. Snappy songs and catchy lyrics with Latin flair will have you coming back to see it again.

Tickets are $19 to $25 and can be purchased online at www.aspirecda.com, by calling 208-696-4228 or by visiting the box office at the Kroc Theater an hour and-a-half prior to showtimes.

This production may not be suitable for young audiences and has a suggested rating of PG-13.
