GHS names Honor Society inductees

There are 97 new members of the Glacier High School chapter of the National Honor Society.
New members were inducted at the high school on Oct. 7.
Selection is based on academics, leadership, service and character. Members must maintain a minimum 3.5 grade-point average and complete community service.

Climate change awards announced
Climate Smart Glacier Country announced its Climate Smart Champions during a ceremony at the Earth Day celebration April 21 in Whitefish. Awards were presented to businesses, youth and an individual who are leaders in building local solutions to climate change challenges.
