Janet Corinne Lynott, 77

Janet Corinne Lynott, age 77, of Rathdrum, went home to our Lord and Savior on Oct. 15, 2019. She passed away quietly in her sleep following her long and courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

She was born Janet Corinne Lang, on June 7, 1942, in Albuquerque, N.M., to Howard and Vesta Lang. She was the third oldest of 11 children, including three sisters and seven brothers.

Janet married the love of her life, Lawrence Wayne Lynott, on Oct. 20, 1961, in San Leandro, Calif. They soon moved to Fairfield, Calif., to begin their lives together and raise their children. They moved to Rathdrum, Idaho, in October of 1997.

Janet loved Jesus and she loved life. She always had a smile on her face. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She had a unique and contagious sense of humor that brought love and laughter to everyone who knew her.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Lang of Livermore, Calif.; and sisters Ruth Pupillo of Medford, Ore., and Julia Harper-Evans of Reno, Nev.

Janet is survived by her husband, Larry Lynott of Rathdrum; daughter, Debi (Rick) Gewecke of Rathdrum; son, Donald (Suzanne) Lynott of Athol; grandchildren Jonathan Wentz of Rathdrum, Sarah (Coldiron) Tester of Rathdrum, Stephanie Lynott of Renton, Wash., Joshua (Destyni) Lynott of Newport, Wash., Christi (Casey) McCann of Post Falls and Sheri (Jim) Denison of Post Falls; great-grandchildren Hunter, Adalynn, Brooklyn, Valmere, Davis, Kylie, Wesley, Bonner, Vanessa, Amanda, Breeah and Mason; sister, Barbara (Gordon) Chandler of Donnelly, Idaho; brothers Clyde Lang of Ashland, Ore., Howard (Bonnie) Lang of Fort Mills, S.C., Fred (Glafre) Lang of Coulee City, Wash., Nelson Lang of Medford, Clayton (Diana) Lang of Sonora, Calif., Charles (Pam) Lang of Medford and many, many nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life service at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, at True North Church of the Nazarene, 10583 N. Government Way, Hayden, ID 83835.
