Peak Health and Wellness Center in Coeur d’Alene will open its doors to the community for the sixth annual Health and Wellness Fair on Wednesday.
The free event is 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Peak Coeur d’Alene, 940 W. Ironwood Dr.
The fair will address all aspects of health, from physical to financial. Attendees can meet local dentists, massage therapists, physical therapists and nutritionists, as well as with a financial advisor.
“It’s all under one roof,” Peak CDA General Manager Lindsay Cantrell said.
Those who want to look good as well as feel good can meet skin-care and beauty experts, or even browse clothing pop-up shops.
Healthy food and beverages will be available at the fair, as well as supplement samples.
“It’s the total package,” Cantrell said.
The first 50 people through the door will receive a special gift, and more prizes will be available throughout the event. Three grand prizes are up for grabs and some vendors will offer their own giveaways.
Peak members are eligible for special perks, including drawings for free dues and personal training giveaways.
For non-members, Peak is offering $1 memberships.
“You walk in with a dollar and you can join that night,” Cantrell said.
Peak is also offering free 10-day passes to all non-members who attend the fair, so they can try the club before committing to a membership. The passes are valid at any Peak club, including Coeur d’Alene, Hayden and Post Falls.
Cantrell said the Health and Wellness Fair is a great way for the community to sample what Peak has to offer. Though each club has all the amenities one might expect from a gym, she said there’s more than many residents realize.
“People are surprised that we have a pool and a sauna,” she said.
The event is also a way to support local businesses, Cantrell said. In fact, that’s how the fair got started. Six years later, the Health and Wellness Fair keeps growing.
“There’s something for everyone,” she said. “We’re hoping people have fun while they’re here.”
The sixth annual Peak Health and Wellness Fair is 4-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Peak Coeur d’Alene, 940 W. Ironwood Drive.
