PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an Election will be held in Bonner County, Idaho on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at each of the polling places noted below and that on said Election Day the polls will be open continuously from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM and that each polling place is handicapped accessible. Elections will be conducted on behalf of the following taxing districts: City of Clark Fork will hold an election for two open seats on the City Council. Each of these positions will be a four year term. Only registered voters residing in the city limits of Clark Fork will be eligible to vote in this election. The Clark Fork voting precinct will be open for this election. City of Dover will hold an election for Mayor and two open four year seats on the City Council. Only registered voters residing in the city limits of Dover will be eligible to vote in this election. The polling places of Baldy, Dover, and Washington voting precincts will be open for this election. City of East Hope will hold an election for Mayor and two open four year seats on the City Council. Only registered voters residing in the city limits of East Hope will be eligible to vote in this election. The Hope voting precinct will be open for this election. City of Hope will hold an election for Mayor and two open seats with four year terms on the City Council. Only registered voters residing in the city limits of Hope will be eligible to vote in this election. The Hope voting precinct will be open for this election. City of Kootenai will hold an election for Mayor, seat #2 with a four year term on the City Council, and seat #4 with a four year term on the City Council. Only registered voters residing in the city limits of Kootenai will be eligible to vote in this election. The Kootenai voting precinct will be open for this election. City of Oldtown will hold an election for Mayor and one open seat with a four year term on the City Council. Only registered voters residing in the city limits of Oldtown will be eligible to vote in this election. The Oldtown voting precinct will be open for this election. City of Ponderay will hold an election for Mayor and two open seats with four year terms on the City Council. There will also be a question asking the voters to approve a Local Option Non-Property Tax. Only registered voters residing in the city limits of Ponderay will be eligible to vote in this election. The polling places for the Kootenai, Selle and Beach voting precincts will be open for this election. City of Priest River will hold an election for two open seats with four year terms on the City Council and one open seat for a two year term on the City Council. Only registered voters residing in the city limits of Priest River will be eligible to vote in this election. The polling places for the East Priest River and West Priest River voting precincts will be open for this election. City of Sandpoint will hold an election for Mayor and three open seats with four year terms on the City Council. Only registered voters residing in the city limits of Sandpoint will be eligible to vote in this election. The polling places for the Airport, Baldy, Beach, Humbird and Washington voting precincts will be open for this election. Bayview Water and Sewer District will hold an election asking for the recall of two members of the Board of Directors. Only registered voters residing in the Bayview Water and Sewer Taxing District will be eligible to vote in this election. The polling place for the Careywood voting precinct will be open for this election. Lake Pend Oreille School District #84 will hold an election for Zone 4 Trustee. This is a four year position. Only registered voters residing in LPOSD Zone 4 will be eligible to vote in the trustee election. LPOSD is also asking the voters to authorize an indefinite term supplemental levy. All voters residing in LPOSD School District will be eligible to vote for the levy question. The polling places of Airport, Algoma, Baldy, Beach, Careywood, Clark Fork, Cocolalla, Colburn, Dover, Gamlin Lake, Grouse Creek, Hope, Humbird, Kelso, Kootenai, Lakeview, Oden, Sagle, Selle, Southside, Washington, Westmond, and Wrenco voting precincts will be open for this election. West Bonner County School District #83 will hold an election for Zone 1 Trustee and Zone 3 Trustee. These are both four year positions. Only registered voters residing in the West Bonner County School Taxing District Zones 1 and 3 will be eligible to vote in this election. The polling places of Blue Lake, East Priest River, Edgemere, Laclede, Lamb Creek, Oldtown, Priest Lake, and Spirit Valley voting precincts will be open for this election. Lakeland Joint School District #272 will hold an election for Zone 1 Trustee and Zone 2 Trustee. Lakeland Joint School District is shared with Bonner County and Kootenai County. In Bonner County only registered voters residing in the Lakeland School Taxing District Zones 1 and 2 will be eligible to vote in this election.
