WOOD: It's all about trust
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 6 years, 2 months AGO
To be a successful public servant, the community must have trust in you. Trust that you will make the very tough decisions for the entire community and for all the right reasons. And nobody develops trust overnight. It takes time, a strong commitment and dedicated philosophy.
Christie Wood has developed trust over her lifetime of service by enlisting in the U.S. Air Force for four years, serving the community for more than 26 years with the Coeur d’Alene Police Department, serving for 15 years on the Board of Trustees for North Idaho College and serving as the current Chairperson, serving for eight years on the Coeur d’Alene School Board, serving for 12 years on the Kootenai County Human Rights Task Force and serving as the current president, and by serving in her second term as a Coeur d’Alene Park and Rec Commissioner.
Christie Wood has demonstrated throughout her life that she is a dedicated public servant. As you can plainly see, Christie Wood has already proven her ability to lead in different arenas of our community.
Please join with me on Nov. 5 and vote for Christie Wood for Coeur d’Alene City Council.
