Mushrooms, pot found in traffic stop

DOVER — A Montana man is charged with drug trafficking after a traffic stop yielded more than 5 pounds of marijuana.
William Ewart Gladston-Bigwolf was driving eastbound on U.S. Highway 2 when he was stopped by Idaho State Police for exceeding the speed limit in the 45-mph zone, according to court documents. The trooper smelled the odor of marijuana emanating from the Chevrolet sport utility vehicle Gladston-Bigwolf was driving, a probable cause affidavit said. A search of the rig turned up 5.35 pounds of pot and 1.05 pounds of hallucinogenic mushrooms,
Gladston-Bigwolf, a 35-year-old from Glacier Park, declined the services of a public defender and posted a $15,000 surety bond following his arrest, court records show.
A preliminary hearing in the case is set for Wednesday.
