Saturday class teaches card creation

Want to learn to make your own cards? Create is hosting a card-making class on Saturday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., with Kat Schutte. the class will be held at Create, 900 W. Fourth, Newport.

At the class, you’ll learn to make cards using rubber, paper, scissor card crafting on the cheap with Schutte. The class will teach crafting hacks using kid’s art supplies, wallpaper, calendars, magazines and more to create your own cards for every occasion. Each participant will bring home a minimum of six cards and the class is designed for ages 10-110.

The cost is $15. Pre-registration is required to ensure enough supplies.
