Welch Comer Engineers moves to downtown Cd'A
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 5 years, 4 months AGO
With about 30 employees, Welch Comer Engineers moved from Kathleen Avenue to the west side of the Wiggett Building (long ago the Montgomery Ward building) at Fourth and Lakeside downtown.
Growing from a two-person office in 1979, the company concentrates on providing engineering services to municipal, state, federal and select private clients. Services include water planning, surveying, wastewater, funding, recreation and transportation. Principal engineers are Phil Boyd (president) and Steven Corder (vice-president). A reason for the downtown move was the ample parking next door in the new parking garage.
Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Phone 208-664-9382. Chec. www.welchcomer.com.
