The Columbia Falls High School soccer teams split a pair of games at rival Whitefish Tuesday afteroon as the Wildkat girls picked up a 4-3 win while the Wildcat boys fell 5-2.

The Lady Bulldogs jumped out to a 1-0 lead over the Wildkats in the first game of the afternoon, but Josie Windauer was able to convert a free kick by Flora Jarvis to tie the score with 14:47 to play in the opening half. Whitefish’s Josie Schneider put the Lady Bulldogs back on top momentarily, but Windauer was able to tie the score at 2-2 just before the half.

Maddie Robison put the Wildkats up for good with a goal early in the second half before another goal from LaKia Hill put the Kats up 4-2. Whitefish added another goal with 11 minutes to play to cut the lead to 4-3, but the Kats held off a late Whitefish push to grab the win.

In boys action, the Bulldogs jumped out to a 5-0 lead in their game against the Wildcats before Niels Getts scored two second-half goals to make the final score 5-2.
