Tri-City tops Indians in playoff preview

PASCO, Wash. — Tri-City won its Northwest League regular-season finale, cranking out 10 hits to outslug the visiting Spokane Indians 7-3 on Monday night before 2,682 fans at Gesa Stadium.
Logan Driscoll had a two-run homer among his three hits to lead the Dust Devil offense, while pitcher Luarbert Arias earned the win, striking out four Indians in five innings of work.
Randy Florentino had a two-run single for Spokane (45-31), which won both the first- and second-half North Division titles.
The Indians and Dust Devils begin a best-of-3 postseason series at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Avista Stadium in Spokane. Games 2 and 3, if necessary, are Thursday and Friday in Pasco.
