RESPONSE: 'Beware of false knowledge'

Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 5 years, 4 months AGO

I was surprised The Press printed the recent guest opinion from Bob Hunt “Her roots begin in New York City.” This was not the first time Mr. Hunt has used this forum offered by our local paper to bully someone he disagrees with. Nothing for him to be proud of. Nothing for The Press to print. He offers a lot to respond to but I believe his own writing exposes him and his crazy beliefs without much comment.

I will limit my response to one comment and two quotes. Alice Arambarri’s roots are in Caribou County and in being a mother, a grandmother and a survivor of gun violence. She would use the quote “I learned a long time ago, never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and the pig loves it.” I will use the quote “Beware of false knowledge, it is more dangerous than ignorance.”
