BONNERS FERRY — Civilians and first responders gathered in front of the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office at noon on Wednesday, Sept. 11, to honor and remember those who lost their lives and loved ones on the fateful day in 2001. The street was lined with first response vehicles, providing a backdrop to the ceremony. Boundary County Sheriff Dave Kramer welcomed the crowd, followed by the statistics of the event shared by Boundary County Chaplain Todd Krautkremer.

Boundary County Chaplain Corps President, Len Pine, read an excerpt from Time Magazine, bringing many in the audience to wipe tears from their eyes.
