WSU hoops to open Pac-12 play at home vs. L.A. schools
Washington State’s men’s basketball team will open the Pac-12 season with a pair of home contests beginning with USC, Thursday, Jan. 2, as announced by the conference office Thursday morning.
The Cougars will appear 20 times on the conference’s Pac-12 Networks including 12 times in conference play. In addition to the games on the Pac-12 Networks, WSU will play six times on ESPNU (3) and FS1 (3), not including any postseason play.
All 12 league schools will head to Las Vegas, for the Pac-12 Tournament, March 11-14. The tournament will once again be held at T-Mobile Arena with games appearing on the Pac-12 Networks and FS1.

Vandals announce
men’s basketball schedule
MOSCOW — Idaho interim men’s basketball coach Zac Claus announced a 31-game schedule, including 15 regular season home contests.
The Vandals will host two exhibitions, against Central Washington on Oct. 22 and Lewis-Clark State on Oct. 29. Idaho begins the season at home, on Nov. 5 against Evergreen State College before a trip out to UC Riverside on Nov. 9. The Vandals will then compete at the Red Wolves Classic in Jonesboro, Ark. There, Idaho will face UC Davis, VMI and Arkansas State before returning home to take on Walla Walla to close out play.
Non-conference play continues with North Dakota State coming to Moscow on Nov. 26. The Vandals travel to Seattle U. to take on the Redhawks on Nov. 30.
Washington State visits Idaho on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
The Vandals then host the Roadrunners of CSU Bakersfield on Saturday, Dec. 14, before traveling to South Dakota State on Dec. 21 to conclude non-conference play.
The Big Sky portion of the schedule was released in February. The Vandals open up on the road this year, at Idaho State (Dec. 28) and at Weber State (Dec. 30), before returning home to take on Portland State (Jan. 2) in the Cowan Spectrum. Eastern Washington comes to town on Jan. 16, while Montana visits on Feb. 8. The Vandals close out the regular season at home against Idaho State on March 7.
