They provided food and allowed visitors to meet with the long-term care patients, whom the money raised from the were meant to benefit.
The event was held for the fourth straight year, occurring the weekend after the county fair. They generally raise around $500, all of which goes to help purchase craft supplies, medical equipment, and to help fund outings.
The money is collected through a donation jar and cars and bikes are able to come and go as they please throughout the day, between 11 am and 2:30 p.m.
Many of the residents came out to visit with people and to look at the cars and bikes, some of which brought back memories of cars they had when they were young.
The Event was organized by activity director Del Smith and assistant activity director Lorraine Miniati.
