- The Age of Food Trucks celebration is today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at NIC. Trucks from Meltz Extreme Grilled Cheese, Mixed Plate Food Truck and Catering, Skewers Mediterranean Cuisine, Tacos Camargo and Coffee Roboto will be parked on College Drive near Christianson Gym. The event kicks off the Cardinal Reads program and the public is welcome to attend; unauthorized cars parked on campus will not be ticketed.

- Three public hearings will guide tonight’s decision to annex nearly 15 acres into Post Falls. The public is welcome to speak their opinions to the Post Falls City Council on the Bel Cielo III, Ruby Springs and Savory annexation proposals. The council meeting begins at 6 p.m. at City Hall.

- SD271 is starting to review and revise the school attendance zone boundaries and will be emailing a survey to parents seeking input. Information can be found at www.cdaschools.org/boundaries. The process is expected to take six months.

- Rathdrum Library will host a “Fake News and Images on the Web” presentation at 2 p.m. on Saturday. It is designed to provide the basics to understand and assess the credibility of online news and images and will cover the technology that is used to deceive the public.
