Whitefish showed up to play at the Libby Invitational golf tournament last Friday, coming away with the individual winner on the boys side and second and third on the girls side.

Cameron Kahle shot a 70 for the overall victory, six strokes ahead of Columbia Falls’ Marcus Leilman, who took second.

Kahle was the sole top-10 finisher for the dogs, who took third overall as a team behind Frenchtown and Columbia Falls.

On the girls side, Anyah Cripe took second with an 89, nine strokes behind the leader, Macee Greenwood of Corvallis.

Ella Shaw shot a 92, which tied her for third with Ellie Thiel of Polson and Harper Armitage of Frenchtown.

As a team, the girls took second, just three strokes behind Corvallis.

This week the team heads down to the Bitterroot for the Hamilton Invite on Saturday. That starts at 10 a.m.
