On Monday morning, Sept. 16, the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office, Idaho State Police, Hall Mountain Fire Department, and Boundary Ambulance were called out to an accident on Highway 1, around milepost 7, near the Canadian border. A tractor trailer, hauling a load of chips, went off the road and ended up on its side.
“The driver was hauling a chip truck in the northbound lane when one of the wheels went off the road,” said Boundary County Sheriff Dave Kramer. “It was soft and it pulled him in and the truck rolled onto its side.”
The driver walked away from the accident and refused treatment from medical personnel.
