Fashion show will help St. Vincent de Paul

The NY Runway Elegance Fashion Show 2019, an annual fundraiser to support North Idaho’s Warming Center run by St. Vincent de Paul North Idaho, will be Friday, Oct. 4.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the show will start at 7 at Best Western Plus Coeur d’Alene Inn, 506 W. Appleway Ave. Outfits and fashion accessories are from St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores and modeled by local public figures and community members.

All proceeds will benefit the St. Vincent Warming Center, a nonprofit offering direction and social services to friends and neighbors in need. During the winter months, the warming center opens to unsheltered homeless individuals and families from Nov. 1 through March 1 when the temperatures drop. Homeless people are able to come in, get warm and rest while getting something hot to eat and drink.

For the fundraiser, tickets are $50, or eight for $400. They include heavy hors d’oeuvres and a no-host bar, on-site fun boutique shopping, games, raffles and the option to purchase a fun Best Of Live, limited auction ticket.
