Wahluke 28, Granger 25

GRANGER — Wahluke rallied from a 19-0 halftime deficit to beat Granger 28-25.

The Warriors started their comeback by outscoring Granger 20-0 in the third quarter.

Jose Celaya scored a 6-yard touchdown; Oscar Rodriguez added a 55-yard touchdown pass to Johnny Miron and an 8-yard keeper to give Wahluke the lead entering the final period.

Granger regained the lead in the fourth, 25-20, before Rodriguez found Luke Yorgesen for the 66-yard go-ahead touchdown. Rodriguez finished with 287 yards passing with 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Miron and Yorgesen caught 12 of Rodriguez’s 13 completions for 155 and 129 yards, respectively.

Chelan 49, Warden 20

CHELAN — Warden allowed 21 points in the fourth quarter and lost to Chelan 49-20.

Girls soccer

Othello 4, Warden 0

OTHELLO ­— Othello scored twice in each half to hand Warden its first loss 4-0.

Hailee Guzman and Janelly Verduzco scored consecutive goals in the 35th and 36th minute. Guzman totaled two goals and an assist against the Cougars.

Gracie Sorenson finished a pass from Guzman in the 50th minute and Guzman notched her second goal in the 55th.

Clarkston 3, Othello 1

OTHELLO — Othello was unable to take advantage of a 1-1 tie in the second half and lost to Clarkston 3-1.

Janelly Verduzco scored in the second half off an assist by Emily Mendez to even the game. However, the Bantams were able to pull ahead with a goal with 14 minutes to play and another off a deflection with three minutes to go to seal the win.

Royal 3, College Place 0

COLLEGE PLACE — Raylie Wardenaar scored twice and Royal beat College Place 3-0.

Chenoa Louie added a goal for the Knights and Amy Sandoval tallied two assists.

Warden 3, Connell 0

WARDEN ­— Warden shut out league opponent Connell 3-0.

Arely Rangel had two goals and Aaliyah Escamilla added another. The Cougars improved to 2-0.

Volleyball

Prosser 3, Othello 1

OTHELLO — Othello lost three consecutive sets and fell to Prosser 14-25, 25-20, 25-22, 25-19.

College Place 3, Royal 0

COLLEGE PLACE — College Place defeated Royal in straight sets 25-23, 25-7, 25-15.
