After school program available for kids 4-12

The Kootenai Valley Christian School will open an after school program Tuesday, Oct. 1.
KVCS After School Learning will accept students ages 4-12, offering fun hours of active games, help with homework, snack, music and prayer.
It will run Monday-Friday, on KVCS school days, from 3-5:30 p.m.
Parents interested in enrolling their children in KASL can stop by the office to pick up an application or call 406-293-2303 for more information.
VFW seeks volunteers for Libby Stand Down
The VFW is looking for volunteers for the 20th Annual Libby Stand Down, Oct. 5-6, at Asa Wood Elementary School.
There are sign up sheets at the VFW and Legion.
Spaghetti dinner fundraiser
St. Joseph’s Parish Hall in Libby is holding a spaghetti dinner to raise money for upcoming youth activities.
The dinner will be held Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Hall at 719 Utah Ave.
Seating times are at 6 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Proceeds help provide the opportunity for youth to attend a pilgrimage to the National Catholic Youth Conference in Indianapolis and future youth activities.
