- During the 21st annual American Indian Tourism Conference, held Sept. 18 in Tulsa, Okla., Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel was honored with the title of ‘Tribal Destination of the Year.’ Coeur d’Alene Casino was given this honor for its forward thinking Cultural Tourism Program, which includes opportunities like a guided tribal homeland tour as well as a bison ranch tour.

- The North Idaho Retired Educators, a chapter of Idaho State Retired Educators, is having its first meeting this season at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 30, at Post Falls Senior Center, 1215 E. - The city of Hayden Veterans Commission is offering the chance to place the name of a veteran on brick pavers as part of the PFC Robert J.
