The Whitefish Theatre Co. is holding auditions for a Black Curtain theatre production of “A Doll’s House, Part 2” written by Lucas Hnath.

Auditions for this show will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. at the O’Shaughnessy Center in Whitefish. The north door at the back of the O’Shaughnessy Center will open at 6:30 p.m.

Remember when Nora walked out and slammed the door behind her in Ibsen’s 1879 revolutionary masterpiece, “A Doll’s House?” Well, she’s back in the bitingly funny, Tony-nominated sequel, “A Doll’s House, Part 2.” It’s 15 years later and Nora has come home to request an incredibly awkward favor from Torvald, the husband whom she abandoned.

The cast is comprised of three women and one man, all ages 20 and older. No experience or preparation is necessary. Pages from the script will be provided.

Nancy Nei is the director of this production. As a Black Curtain show, the actors will remain on book during performances. There will be nine rehearsals and one technical rehearsal on Nov. 1. There are two performances over one weekend on Nov. 2 and 3.
