Nominations sought for outstanding student honor
Lake County Leader | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 5 years, 3 months AGO
As the first month of school comes to a close, Kalispell Regional Healthcare and the Lake County Leader would like to remind you to nominate an outstanding high school student to be considered for the inaugural “Today’s Achievers, Tomorrow’s Leaders” honors.
Deadline for nominations is Friday, Sept. 27. Principals, school counselors, teachers and community members are encouraged to nominate exemplary students to receive the honor by visiting krh.org/TomorrowsLeaders or dailyinterlake.com.
Students who are not only high achievers, but also are making an impact in their communities are perfect nominees to consider. Maybe this exemplary student is a club president, volunteers at the local food bank, or organizes fundraisers for those in need.
Over the course of the 2019-20 school year, the Leader, in cooperation with Kalispell Regional Healthcare, plans to recognize these top students and share their inspiring stories, via a monthly series called “Today’s Achievers, Tomorrow’s Leaders.”
Each month during the school year, a high school student will be featured in the local newspaper.
Nominations will be reviewed and monthly winners will be chosen by a selection committee of KRH and local newspaper staff.
These nominations will be submitted by principals, school counselors, teachers and community members.
