- Post Falls homecoming begins tonight with a parade through downtown at 6:30 p.m.. On Friday, enjoy food, music and games at the tailgate party from 4 to 6:15 p.m. at the school. All alumni are encouraged to wear letter jackets for a photo at 6:15 p.m. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. A fireworks show follows the football game.

- The City of Coeur d’Alene and CDA 2030 are hosting a public kick-off and visioning workshop for the Coeur d’Alene Comprehensive Plan and CDA 2030 Implementation Plan. Join them for an evening of community discussion to address growth. The presentation and activities start at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Innovation Den, 418 E. Lakeside Ave.

- Gov. Brad Little, along with the Idaho Wheat Commission and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, met in the State Capitol on Monday to sign a letter of intent for the Taiwan Flour Mills Association to purchase U.S. wheat over the next two years, a deal valued at $576 million. Little and a delegation of Idaho companies will visit Taiwan next month.

- Idaho Fish and Game asks upland game bird hunters to donate a fully feathered wing per bird harvested for biologists to study to estimate chick populations. Sage/sharp-tailed grouse permit holders will receive a packet with mail-in directions and a prepaid envelope. Hunters may drop wings off at check stations or in wing barrels near popular access points.
